CRPF Requirement 2012, Medical Officers (Asst Commandant)/ Dental Surgeon

Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for appointment to Group ‘A’ post of Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant) and Dental Surgeon in Central Armed Police Forces (BSF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB and Assam Rifles), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

A recognized medical qualification of allopathic system of medicines included in the first or second schedule or Part–II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part–II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub Section (3) of Section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. ii. Completion of compulsory rotating internship. A Degree (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) from a recognized University/Institution included in the schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948). ii. Should be registered with Dental Council of India. iii. Candidate should have Minimum 60% marks in aggregate in BDS exams. iv. Candidate should have cleared all BDS subjects in first attempt. v. Post Degree work experience will be given preference.

(b) The candidates must not have knock–knee, flat foot or squint in eyes and they should possess high-grade colour vision. The candidates will be tested for colour vision by Ishiahara’s test as well as Edrich green Lantern tests. They must be in good mental and physical health and free from any defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

(c) Subject to (a) & (b) above, the standards of Medical fitness for the candidates would be the same as prescribed by the Government for the Indian Police Service.

Application as per the prescribed to The Deputy Inspector General (Rectt.) , Member Secretary , Medical Officer Selection Board (Capfs) –2012 , Hq Dg Crpf, Block No. 01, Cgo Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi – 110003 on or before 24th May, 2012. Covers containing applications must be super scribed in bold letters as “Application For The Post Of Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant)/Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant) /Dental Surgeon(Assistant Commandant)” in CPFs–2012. The application must be accompanied by Two self addressed unstamped envelopes of 27.5 cms x 11.5 cms size.
